What’s been happening:

I have been an electrical and process controls engineer for close to 18 years now. Primarily my duties have been close to the automotive industries. I started out in Pennsylvania with the powdered metal industries, electrical construction then moved along to Detroit with my family where I have been involved with vehicle and engine designs for GM. I currently live 35 miles north of Buffalo NY and work at the GM Tonawanda Engine facility for 10 years to date. I enjoy my family and our farm, and my job is excellent. My engineering degree from Penn State has always steered me in good direction and has always provided me employment. The future holds "greener" technologies, which I am a part in for cleaner-burning, more fuel-efficient vehicles. I am currently involved with the design and installation of wind power turbines in and around Buffalo and hope to be an asset in the building of over 100 more along the high wind areas in our area as well as our country. My jobs, projects, farm and three children- Karla, 13; Roy, 8; and Owen, 6-all keep me very busy. And that is a good thing!
